Photo of Dr Danny Sathyadass Danny Sathyadass is a team-builder and church-planting pioneer. Currently he is pioneering Citylight. Citylight is focused on training and instilling the importance of discipleship within the context of Christ centered teams which can function as autonomous churches yet are interdependent with each other. It was initially a missional arm of Radiance which is a home church network—that Danny along with his wife, Sayo, and a few others launched in 2005 in Whitefield, Bangalore. He is author of Spark Teams for a Change (forthcoming).

Danny has experience as a youth and music coordinator in a pioneering church plant. He also served as a radio Bible teacher with TWR-India, alongside with his work with Radiance. These experiences instilled in him the importance of discipleship, and he became a catalyst for churches and agencies who now report 1000s of such self-replicating discipleship groups in their specific networks.  Danny completed an MTh in Pastoral Studies/Counselling from the University of Wales/Taftee. He also did a DMin degree in Pastoral Ministry from SAIACS, while serving as a Chaplain in the same institution, between 2011-2018.

Married to Sayonara, a teacher by profession and an author herself, they currently stay in Bangalore India. They have three grown sons, Joash, Joel and John.

Dr Sathyadass’s role will be engaging one-to-one with Majority World theological institutions, listening to them, working to understand them, and helping TWB better serve their needs. He is also TWB’s regional representative in South Asia.
