WHAT WE DO
OUR FOUR FUNCTIONS
We all know there are resource imbalances in the world. If you’re a theologian broadly speaking—theological teacher, educator, bible lecturer, professor, trained pastor—you can help.
We operate internationally and have four functions:
F1: Help Western scholars to visit and teach in Majority World institutions…
…more effectively and with more cultural relevance. We vet scholars and then match them to teaching-visit opportunities in the MW — we aim at MDiv level or higher, not grassroots training.
If you’re an evangelical scholar and you’d like to help, enquire about being a field scholar click the button below:
If you’re from a Majority World theological institution and you’d like to learn more, enquire about becoming a MW institutional partner click the button below:
…to let Majority World voices be heard internationally. Enquire about inviting a MW scholar and partnering with TWB as a Western Institution
(TWB won’t be fostering long-term recruitment from the MW to the W).
F3. Foster equitable global Theological Education Partnerships…
…to encourage and broker fair Theological Education global partnerships, between MW and W institutions – to ‘level the playing field’.
F4. Facilitate Majority World Regional Cross-Pollination…
…to enhance MW regional cross-pollination, by brokering and facilitating (including financially where possible) relationships between MW institutions and scholars, especially across MW regions.
