As I passed through the various security checks at Israel’s Tel Aviv airport, I came to the magnetic doorway. Amazed that I had made it so far without incident despite my obviously Middle Eastern look (I am anglo saxon but tan very well, and have a snoz that makes Mr Squiggle look like a close relative), I came through the door to see a young Israeli security officer stretching out her arms, indicating I was to do like-wise. As I raised my arms she burst out laughing! “I was only stretching! You can go through!”
Security checks are great fun!
In England at Luton Airport all belts had to be removed, with obvious results for a fellow who had lost 10 kg walking around Israel!

Steve, I hadn’t thought of the benefit of weight loss by traveling! Well done.
